Salton Direct Warranty Extension

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: [June 7, 2026]  ·  Offered by Salton 1985 Corp. (“Salton”), Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec, Canada

1. The offer.  Salton provides an additional six (6) months of limited warranty coverage (the “Extension”) on eligible products purchased directly through salton.com. The Extension is added to, and runs consecutively after, the standard limited warranty period that applies to the product (the “Standard Warranty”). Total coverage equals the Standard Warranty period plus 6 months, measured from the date of original purchase.

2. Eligibility.  The Extension applies only to:

•     new products purchased directly from www.salton.com by the original end-use purchaser; and

•     orders shipped to an address in Canada or the US.

It does not apply to products bought from third-party retailers or marketplaces, refurbished or “open-box” items, demo units, products purchased for resale, or commercial/industrial use.

3. Activation.  The Extension applies automatically to eligible orders. To make any claim, the purchaser must (a) retain the original salton.com order confirmation as proof of purchase, and (b) register the product at salton.com/pages/register-your-product. Salton will require the order number and proof of purchase to validate coverage.

4. What is covered.  The Extension covers the same defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic use that are covered by the product’s Standard Warranty, on the same basis. The Extension lengthens the coverage period only; it does not broaden the scope of coverage.

5. What is not covered.  The Extension does not cover damage from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper maintenance; use contrary to the operating instructions; commercial or rental use; glass breakage; normal wear and consumable or replaceable parts (e.g., filters, seals, gaskets, carafes); cosmetic damage that does not affect function; damage occurring after delivery in transit; or any product that has been altered, modified, or had its serial number removed or defaced. All Standard Warranty exclusions continue to apply.

6. How to claim.  Contact Salton Customer Service at service@salton.com with your order number, proof of purchase, product model, and a description of the issue. Claims must be made within the total coverage period (Standard Warranty plus 6 months).

7. Remedy.  At Salton’s sole discretion, an in-warranty product will be repaired, replaced, or refunded. Any refund may be pro-rated based on the remaining coverage period. Salton’s total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

8. Relationship to other warranties and your legal rights.  The Extension is a voluntary commercial guarantee offered by Salton in addition to the Standard Warranty. Nothing in these terms limits, replaces, or reduces the rights you have under applicable law, including the legal warranty under the Consumer Protection Act (Quebec) and equivalent consumer-protection legislation in other provinces. Those statutory rights apply regardless of, and in addition to, this Extension and the Standard Warranty.

9. Limitation.  To the extent permitted by law, Salton is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the product. Some jurisdictions do not allow such limitations, so they may not apply to you.

10. General.  Salton may modify or withdraw this offer for future purchases at any time without notice; the terms in effect at the time of purchase govern the order. This offer is void where prohibited. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
